NON-TRANSPLANT HEPATOBILIARY SURGERY

At our centre, we have closely integrated the practice of hepatobiliary surgery with liver transplantation because the same team members--medical physicians with expertise in the care of liver diseases, surgeons with expertise operating on the liver and bile ducts, and nurse coordinators who guide you through the process--take care of both of these patient populations.

In addition, for some patients, liver transplantation can be an option when there are no other traditional surgical options left.
